Quartersawn Oak Queen Anne Cabriole Leg China Cabinet/Cupboard with Carved Shell/Scroll Motifs & with a Flat Glass Door that has the Fancy Fret Insert. This is a beautiful piece of furniture & it is very clean & room ready. It measures 36″ wide by 64″ high by 15″ deep. This piece is made from quartersawn oak and has applied carvings, of which there are NONE missing! The cabriole leg has been described as “the most recognizable element” of Queen Anne furniture, & were influenced by the designs of the French cabinetmaker André-Charles Boulle and the Rococo style from the French court of Louis XV. In addition to simple curvilinear lines and cabriole leg, other important decorative elements included carved shell and scroll motifs, often found on the crest & sides for added decoration. R 5459256
